I am a 26 year old creative type with a passion for writing, illustration and graphic design.

Since a young age I have found myself fascinated with cartoons and comics. As a child I wanted more than anything to become a professional animator, but as the tedium of animation became apparent in my teenage years, I found myself gravitating toward static cartoon illustration and graphic storytelling.

I produce the bulk of my work in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator with a giant Wacom Intuos graphics tablet. My home system is a Mac, but I have also used  Windows comprehensively throughout my computing life and consider myself fully functional across both operating systems.

I am always keen to explore new creative tools and have used many digital graphics applications to date. If you can name the software, I have likely worked with it at some level. I would consider my ability to quickly understand and work within any limitations of a foreign software situation one of my strongest assets.

Something else I have come to embrace in recent years is website design.  I have designed and built almost every website my work has ever been showcased on, creating necessary graphics and working with HTML, PHP and CSS coding when required to realise my ideas. These days, I specialise in extensively customising existing themes for content management systems such as WordPress.

I collect amusing t-shirts, mostly anything with pop-culture references and enjoy a plethora of movies, television shows and videogames much like any other modern geek. In my opinion Gremlins is the most original movie ever and The X-Files (prior to season 9) is the greatest television series released in recent history.

Although I will always have new things to learn, I thrive on the constant challenge to keep pushing my abilities further. My current career goal is to seek employment in design while producing a webcomic to earn supplementary income. I believe this to be the ideal method for me to develop and showcase my creative ideas to a broad audience.

For now, I am seeking employment in relevant industries to gain further knowledge and skills necessary for creative growth. I am particularly keen to improve my web design and coding skills.
